Allison sits on a background of architecture, design, construction, and academia. She is interested in the overlap of architecture and narrative, or buildings and stories: how things in our built environment can tell a story, shape our story, or become a character and participate with us in the theater of the everyday. She thinks architecture can take the form of buildings, performance, or speculative scenarios; and should engage people in unexpected ways. She is passionate about craft and the act of making things. And she likes it when things follow the rules 90% of the time.
